Wild caught prey of any sort always has a probability of parasites. Toads as opposed to frogs also have a possibility of toxins from their paratid glands causing problems.
I understand the idealogy behind feeding a varied diet;
If you would like to pursue an amphibian portion to your cribo's diet, I would recommend breeding your own frogs. It's really very easy (start with CB). Many places will also sell wholesale frogs, but most are wild caught and/or you will still need to store a lot of frogs at once.
Finally, some snakes need prey that is pretty much only readily available wild-caught. An example are the reptile eaters. Optimal husbandry will help your predators keep any infestations in check; as will periodic deworming. See your veterinarian for specifics.
Obviously wild caught prey are easier to obtain in large numbers via a distributer. If you do catch stuff locally, be very aware of the species that inhabit the area. Keep only to common species and limit the numbers so as to not have any effects on the population. Collect only for your snakes.

Thanks, Ian.,very much for your info. what you said makes alot of sense. that helped me out alot.I just recently obtained these cribos,.I've never owned one before.I really love these guys, they are the ultimate snake to me.and I want to make sure I do everything right concerning they're health and happiness. as for collecting amphibians locally.,I'm switching gears. and I think I'll try to raise my own as you suggested. again, thank you.
