Testing Out Rebel XT

Rick Millspaugh Nov 24, 2005 12:51 AM

A good friend came over to get a couple high quality Bearded Dragon pics for a publication and I decided to test out his Canon Rebel XT. I picked a couple test subjects including this 2005 female Thayeri I am holding back. First is the best picture I’ve gotten of her so far with my camera and second, the new pic with the big Canon. I used manual focus with the Canon, I was a little off but I think the color is right on. I have been very frustrated with the color reproduction I have been getting with my camera. The first pic isn't bad, but not right. What do you think? Time to invest in a good camera?

..I think the camera is fine...It's the SNAKE! You'd better get that thing to me quickly. I'll see if I can get that fuzz off him.
Beautiful!

If you really want to jump to a better digital camera, you might consider the Canon 20D. This camera is at the high end of the amateur or low end of the professional range. A buddy at work has one and has made some outstanding photographs.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
