Q. Where can I go to college to study snakes?
A. Herpetology is what you want to study. Some good options include University of California at Berkeley and Humboldt State University, in California; University of Florida; University of Georgia; University of Chicago; University of Kansas; Harvard University; University of Michigan; Duke University in North Carolina; Cornell University in New York; and University of Texas at Austin. These colleges focus on herpetology in graduate school, typically grades 17 to 20.
In college, grades 13 to 16, you should study a lot of science, including biology, chemistry, zoology, environmental science and math. There are many good colleges where you can study any and all of those subjects.
