Sleeping spots

safo Jul 23, 2003 01:43 AM

hey im kinda worried my cham might fall fromt he top of his cage, he is sleeping in the top corner, of the cage holding on to the screen, i am assuminghtis is beause he was mad when i tried to move his tree while he was on it, i was trying toget the dripper to drip ont he leaves, i've noticed him walking around the planter and eating leaves from the ficus tree and his old skin. is this a normal postioin for them to sleep, hanging on the cage? i guess i will find out in the morning

What about putting a branch in this corner for him to perch on instead? If he prefers the temp/humidity/height or seclusion of this corner just let him sleep there. Chams rarely fall unless really sick, and even if he does he probably won't hurt himself just falling the length of a cage. He probably wants more plants to hide in. I've noticed that chams select a sleeping spot for a few days and then change it. Could be that the climate in this spot just appeals to him at the moment.
