24" big enough for two?

Ribbon Jul 23, 2003 02:05 AM

I currently have one small adult ribbon and would love to get a garter (would they be ok mixing?) around 4 Ribbon & Garter care sheets i've read say you can keep upto 3 adults in a 24" tank?

I'm by no means an expert but I wouldn't keep them together, but then I wouldn't even keep 2 garters or 2 ribbons together. If you do, get a bigger tank, I personally think that's too crowded for two different species.

Snakes tend to be much better off on their own, unless they're a mating pair. They can get vicious toward each other, especially in cramped quarters..
