Rhynchophis picture.....

You always see closeups of Rhynchophis "noses". I was at the zoo recently and was amazed at how cool their scales are - here's a reduced version of my new computer desktop -

This is part of my new "collection" of snake scale photos. I am not sure why it started, but it is kind of fun to do?

Very nice Chris. That's very interesting seeing the different species of snakes and their scales photographed up close.
Also, off topic, I checked out your photos in the Pandale section of your album. Wow, some really beautiful birds in there. The Bullock's Oriole shot with the two cardinals is outstanding. Great photos.
