I find myself ansering many more questions here than posting so I thought I would throw out some food for thought. I was checking out the python classifieds when I came across this one:

This is a "Leopard Burmese Python"; what $#%%^?!!!!! All it looks like to me is a slighly oddly patterned NORMAL burm....that sells for over $K!! Holy Cow, this hobby is out of control. It seems to be much more about keeping snakes for the money (and seeing them as an investment) rather than the passion of just keeping one for the sheer joy of interacting with an inredibly beautiful animal. Anyone willing to pay that kind of money for a normal burm must be....er, well, I'd like to have that kind of money to just toss around! No disrespect to the breeder of this "rare" morph but I couldn't stop laughing when I was looking at this picture of a normal burm selling for $1250.....man, I need to start naming all of the abandoned burms t hat come into my facility and clean up! Nah, I'll just continue to just keep them because I love keeping them. Cheers,
