Cornsnakes are one of our North American Ratsnakes. They tend to be a southeastern snake. Basics: fresh water, a rodent about once a week that is about the size of the snake at its thickest part (maybe a bit bigger, and frozen/thawed is best), a place to hide on the warm side (75-85) and cool side (65-75), if your room temp stays at or above mid-70's a warmer spot is desirable but not absolutely needed. Search this forum for more and get a good book. Most will tell you that Kathy Love's book would be great. Good luck. Duffy
