Texans mating (graphic-Justin...don't let your "baby" see!)

Mike Meade Nov 25, 2005 02:35 PM

My male erebennus was cruising his cage like crazy last night and had no interest in food. His "Mrs." has been in shed for a while, so I thought maybe if I put them together he could encourage her to "take it all off".

This morning I awoke to a freshly shed female in the middle of...well...see for yourself.

I won't let Dixie see that - I don't want her to go off her feed... HA!! No one wants to see their parents engaged in such activity... : )
I hope all turns out well and you'll have a bunch of new critters soon. Keep us posted & good luck!

Take care,

Justin

Thanks for pointing that out, Dean. I was too busy looking at...well, you know.

She definitely has some swelling going on...cool. I will keep you informed of her progress. Thanks again for giving me a chance at working with these great snakes.

Oh, and I will remember that Dixie is a "good egg".
