gracie and griffin

jeune18 Nov 25, 2005 03:09 PM

so i do have a little boy and a little girl and the little girl is the fiesty one. anyway, their names are gracie and griffin and of course there is a story behind it.
for the last couple months, my aunt has been riddled with malignant tumors. she had cancer before and it came back aggressively. anyway at 2 am on thanksgiving morning, she passed away. at that point, she just really needed to go to the other side and we were all pretty thankful she was not suffering anymore. her name was anita which means grace or gracious, hence that is where the name gracie came from. griffin doesn't mean much except it sounds good with gracie

I am sorry about your aunt, but glad she no longer has to suffer.
How are the babes? Still having an occasional twitch? Those are cute names. Looking forward to photos.

yes, they still have some twitching. it is very hard to dose something so small because sometimes i get too much in their mouth at once and they have to point their heads up in the air to breathe and it makes me nervous. not bad twitching. the first day gracie was twitching in like her arms and legs. now it is just toe twitching so it is getting better

So very sorry to hear about your aunt passing on Vonnie, always hits home when I hear about tumors, Cancer and Death. Anyway I have to agree, she is no longer suffering but in a wonderful place

Glad the lil tykes are doing better, keep up the liquid calcium if they are still having twitches or tremors. Nice names, I especially like the fact that griffin (as you say, means NOTHING) except it sounds good with Gracie, LOL

looking forward to some baby pics soon!

ha ha, well i think griffin meant mythological beast, it did mean something but not much in picking it out. i tried to look up male names that meant grace or gracious but i did not like any of them so i went with something that had the same phonetic beginning as gracie
i keep giving them that calcium and i keep getting the evil eye from them when i give it to them, ha ha. still haven't seen them eat anything and one of them pooped green. kinda freaked me out as they haven't been eating veggies. didn't notice it with the first bunch of girls, have you ever seen that before?

any hatchlings even have bowel movements before they ate.

The green in some animals and even human children can mean cold, sickness/infection beings they (the baby lizards) have not eaten anything I would keep an eye on that.

I'm sure sorry to hear about your aunt Anita. I'm with Eve on this one--the word cancer really hits close to home. I feel for you and your family. I appreciate how you honored her with your babies' names.
