I am buying a six month old argentine b&w tomorrow afternoon. I am going to house it in a 75 gal for the time being. I have some large cork sections that I'd like to use in the cage that I was using in my PTS cage before he died a few months ago. I'm not positive that anything infectious killed the skink. I'd had him for eight years, and he was fully grown when I acquired him, so age certainly could have been a factor. I just want to know what precautions I can take in sanitizing the hollows before I put them in w/ the tegu. I've used the oven @200 degrees Farenheit before. They have been outside through the recent frosts as well. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not afraid to trash them, although they were very expensive and hard to find.
Thanks.
