Reptile Show Question

shinysnakeskin Nov 25, 2005 06:19 PM

i was born in PA and just recently moved down here to North Carolina. iam always looking for a reptile show that is either in SC or NC, and i never see any. and when i do notice that one is coming its too late for me to go and i miss out. im wondering why. i see that some of the states up north have reptile shows almost every month.

I think location matters, up north has a lot of breeders and florida (especially southern florida) have BIG shows, probably more big than the shows up north. Daytona and Orlando probably having the biggest. Don't be surprised if you have to drive a 100 miles down south to get to a show. Just be glad you aren't in the plain states

Most reptile shows have flyers where they list their dates several months in advance. You may also want to check out "Reptiles" magazine, they have show listings. In addition the "Events" section here on kingsnake.com lists reptile shows.
