Did you collect this one or is it a C/B from locale parents?? Vey sweet looking snake!!! The normals are by far my favorite, and when it comes to the individual locale specific animals, they are all great snakes!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Brian. Yes, my corn is a C/B descentant from local specific animals that were field collected from Howie Sherman himself. I really love local specific animals. Like you, normal kings, corns and ratsnakes are my favorites, and local specific is even more of a plus.
Also Brian, I may purchase a Great Plains rat. How do you like yours, and how does he compare to your Kky corns as far as size, behavior, personality, etc.

My great plains is a neat snake! I have wanted one for a while now and finally got it. It is not nippy at all and is larger than my corns. In between corns and black rats would be the easiest way to describe size. Temperament is pretty laid back and he has a feeding response that is all rat snake! So I would say get youreslf one and enjoy!!

Sometimes people don't realize how much great plains rats can vary. The contrast and color that yours exhibits is the ideal specimen that I'm looking for. Nice medium brown saddles on a light background. Excellent pic.
