I find them to be typically pretty calm snakes. Even hatchlings tend to be calmer than hatchlings of most other milk snake species in my experience. They're great snakes to keep.

Nice looking Nelson's, I prefer the high red myself too. It is hard to beat the beauty of these snakes.
