My burm so far

Hello everybody, I've had my burm for just about two months now and thought I'd share my experience so far. My guy is a hatchling albino male, and he couldn't be more of a delight. He's probably my most docile snake, which eases my apprehensions about having such a large (eventually) constrictor. Just gotta keep that guard up! He's a very curious little guy. I'm also really amazed by the feeding response. Reading about it and seeing it are completely different things. If he smells food he instantly goes into hunting mode, and I've never had a snake strike as fast and willingly as he does. I feed him Pre killed so hopefully over time he will less "amped up" come feeding time. Anyway, just thought I'd share my good experience.

I wouldn't count on him having any less of a feeding response as he gets older. My 12' male is about 5 years old and still goes at 'em like he did when I first got him as a hatchling...
