id like to show you all Ivy. she is our new addition. she is about 3 1/2 feet long, and i dont have a scale yet... ill get one for christmas... but she is pretty heavy. my boyfriend and i got her at the pet store today, we were checking out and someone walked up to the front desk and said he couldnt keep this snake, me being nosey i asked what kind of snake was it. he said ball python.. with out asking what sex is it i said id take it.. i asked the store manager to sex the snake for me and he probed it to be a female.. i had me do this a few more times just to make sure. right before we left we bought her a small rat so she could go home and have something to eat. so as i got into the car i said to my boyfriend lets see if she'll eat this.. and in a second she struck at that rat and downed it. so we have a good eater now too. Ivy will never replace Maggy but she'll deffinitly fill the gap in love for these snakes. hope you all enjoy the pictures of her
