the numbers represent the number of snakes owned and sex....
for example, 1.1 would mean 1 male and one female. 2.3 would mean 2 males and 3 females. It is simple but nobody knows everything right away...or ever

0.1 Snow Corn "Hope"
1.0 Ball Python "Wilson" (Castaway)
1. Orange Albino Black Ratsnake "Chunk" (Goonies)
.1 Orange Albino Black Ratsnake "Peaches"
0.0.1 Mexican Black Kingsnake "Onyx"

Take it one step farther...

3.2.4

would be 4 males, 2 females and 4 unknown or unsexed.

So the poster of the topic doesnt get confused, Jimmy you put 4 for the males instead of 3 which you wrote. Just so he doesnt get confused i wanted to make sure he wasnt reading it wrong.
