Google australia. The weather conditions there are what you would mimic. I doubt there are many if any in private collections in the US and they sure wouldnt be kept indoors, so you'd have to be in a place that had temperate weather all year round (like Australia). I think that the gator farm in St. Augustine FL has one. I think one enclosure guideline is like 2.5x animal length by 3 or 4x animal length but for such a large animal it might need to be much bigger. So for a typical 15 footer that would be like a 40'x 60' enclosure with 8 foot high wall with probably a 15,000 gallon pond (20x20x5) with a herd of zebras nearby. There's also the difference between thrive and maintain. I've seen large alligators (12 feet) in small enclosures (under 20x20) at zoos.
>>I am doing an assignment for my reptile and amphibian care course and it requires that I design an enclosure for the species I have chosen.
>>I have chosen the saltwater crocodile and I can't find the information I need.
>>I have to provide information on the size, length, height, and shape of the enclosure... as well as what kind of heating to use, ideal temperature, humidity, and lighting.
>>If anyone can help me out with some infromation, it would be much appreciated.
