I am curious what you or anyone has found on field observations in MO.... here is what I am looking for in the VERY SW corner of MO.
Great Plains Rat Snake: Missouri Distribution: Mainly wooded areas in the southern half of the state and along Missouri River counties, excluding southeastern counties (Never even heard of one spotted around here)

Black Rat Snake: where do you look for these? I have only ever happened upon them in the city....

Prairie Kingsnake: Missouri Distribution: Statewide.

Red Milk Snake: Missouri Distribution: Statewide.
