Male breeder gone crazy.....

NUCCIZ_BOAS Nov 27, 2005 12:56 PM

had him in breeding my argentine female for 7 days, I decided to take him out and give him a break, and will throw him in again in a week or so. As I seperated him, he's going crazy, has not stopped searching every inch of his home for 24 hours now, non stop. I had a bowl of water in there, he was drinking like a horse, but with his whole head submerged for long intervals of time. I left him alone at first, but decided I didnt want to have him drown, so I pulled it, and will put it back in today as I try to feed him. Any body else ever seen this?

In my opinion that male needs to be back in with the female.Trust me he doesnt need a break after only a week. The female is in heat so to speak and your male knows this.In my opinion he wont calm until she stops her cycle,or stops producing phermones,or he is satisfied she is bred.Hope this helps.
