Thanks for all the advice. I sure came to the right place for help.

I placed the vivarium under full spectrum fluorescent lighting for 12 hours a day. I also placed a piece of glass on top (I know it blocks out the UVA) which created a sort of greenhouse effect raising the temps about 5 or 6 degrees (high 70's) during the day. So, either the light, or the temps, or both stimulated him to take an unscented FT pinky without hesitation today.
