sheds from inside female scent glands ? (are they even scent glands.?.that's what we always call them but I have no real idea if the females' actually have scent glands or just little pockets full of gunk in their vents???)

....either that or a second guess would be boogers and you really should use a tissue and wash your hands?...

How about dried up musk from adult females??? Sometimes females push out stuff as well, just my guess, Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles.

I really don't know. It's something gross that was discharged from a living creature? Maybe a snake booger since it doesn't have a hair in it LOL. Please tell us!

well, I was mining for gold one day when.....

actually.....

These are solidified concretions from females' post-cloacal sulci, or in english...the sacks we probe to determine sex of an individual....

The mucopolysaccharides, or mucosal secretions, help lubricate the surface of the area...they accumulate, take on the shape of the sulci, and then while still soft, are eliminated often at the time of ecdysis (shed)...exposed to air, they harden into something you can sell on eBay!

I find them periodically, maybe once or so a year for any given female....

OK now, carry on, get back to work ya'll...

Scott
