Any tips on Trash Sites or good roads within 20 miles of Myrtle Beach?

westernNC Nov 27, 2005 08:21 PM

Heading there next June on a family vacation and want to get out a few early mornings to flip some trash and then again maybe one evening to see if anything is crossing the road. I'm not going to rape and pillage, however I would love to find a nice pair of corns from that area.

I'm willing to share a killer trash site that will keep you busy all day long and cruising road in New Hanover County, NC (near Carolina Beach, NC) via email if someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

North myrtle beach has an abondoned golf course right off of the main drag. Ocean side of the hwy. North east of the Jonny Carrinos Italian restaurant if I remember correctly. Bridge is too far North. They are to build condos , construction may have allready begun, but if not there is alot of ground to cover with ponds and trash. i found a real nice copperhead there, prettiest I've ever seen.

Thanks Chuck,
Send me an email and I will give you directions to one of the most remarkable trash sites I've ever found on the NC Coast.
