It's a Nikon D50 SLR, it's the first real(SLR) camera I've had.

This thing is way more then I know how to use, so I will be playing with it a lot.

About 2 months ago I got the Canon 350D ...

I am just beginning to understand the abilities of the camera.

The new dSLR's (yours, mine, d70, 5d, 20d etc...) are out of this world.

Good luck with your photography.

Joel

PS: I find herpetoculture and digital photography compliment each other tremendously as hobbies.

Thanks,

I have a lot to learn with the new camera. add to that I've never been the best with any carera, and I think I'm over my head!!!

I think it's nice right out of the box, can't wait till I read the book that came with it and learn how to use all the toys!!

Picked it up at Wal-Mart for 300$ ... I Love It !!!

Here is a head shot of a baby male granite ...

I'd say that wal-mart camera was worth every penny you spent on it.

Nice lookin' young'n, by the way.

Very nice, but it looks like you got some skill to go with the camera, all I got is the camera, I'll need to learn the skill.
