Anyone else own these? I picked up 3 recently. Would love to see photos of them if anyone has some to share.

Hi,

Yes, I had a pair for a short while over a year ago. Unfortunately they both died. If you have wild caught animals (which you probably have) make sure you get them checked out and treat them immediately if necessary. Both of mine were accepting small mice right away but ended up dead in no-time.

Good luck and post some pics, would love to see them

Well, this trio is supposedly CBB and feeding on live mice. They look pretty healthy from the photos. Did yours have parasites? I'll post photos when they get here.

Hi,

Yes, mine had some parasites. The big problem was that they had been with the importer too long without any treatment.

Good luck,

Iwan

Any tips on care for these guys? All I got was an 85-90f hot spot and high humidity. Not much available out there.

Here's some photos of mine, they arrived this morning. The container is 9 1/2" across.

Congrats, they're very nice!!!

I kept them in Rubbermaid-style containers in pretty high humidity. Furthermore I used a water container, 15 Watt light bulb, a branch to climb, hidespot and some fake leaves on the floor. I kept them on aquarium sand at the time, but right now my choice would be newspaper to start with.

Just make sure to get a fecal exam a.s.a.p.

All the best,

Iwan

I put them in rubbermaid clear containers on white paper towel for right now. They can hide under the paper towel. They also have a good sized water dish-I use plastic deli cups with punched lids. I misted them last night to raise the humidity. Right now one's at the front of his cage, the other two are hiding under the paper towel.

I'll get fecals done as soon as they go.
