i have a 16 in bearded dragon are pinkies better than crickets and how often should he get them

Pinkies are not better than crickets. Though bearded dragons do eat pinky mice, they should only be offered very rarely, once a month if that. Pinkies are not really a requirement in dragon's diets. Some breeders feed pinkies to females to help them after laying eggs.
