'Tired' looking babies ..help!

lindsay78 Jul 23, 2003 10:13 AM

a few of my babies look 'tired'.
they're a few weeks old, and I don't know what to do.
I've tried hand feeding them , etc
But otherwise, they'll often just sit in the corner of their tank, or just sleep under the basking light. HELP!
They eat often , at which time they look perky, and happy...tail erect, etc
I feed them dusted pinhead crickets, and they'll even eat a bit of greens...

Suggestions?
I've never had this problem before.

my 9-10 wk old female just did the same exact thing. just moped around all day, but awoke at feeding time. yesterday i brought her into a vet, they tested her poop and she had coccidia. i would collect stool samples and get them checked out.

Soak them at least once a day. I even add a little pedialyte to the soak.
I have seen that turn around droopy babies.

Good luck.
