growth rate

I'm wondering what the range of normral sizes is for an 8-month-old female ball. My girl seems very healthy except that she has grown very little since I got her, and since she was wild caught I want to be sure that her slow growth is not a symptom of internal parasites. She's a very steady eater, so if it turns out she is unusually small, it might be a time for a visit to the vet. Could anyone tell me how big your snakes were when they were 8 months old, and what the usual size range is?

Hard to say - really depends on the snake - I've had some at 400 grams at 8 months and others at 800 at 8 months. Same diet and husbandry. Who knows what the difference is, maybe just genetics. If you suspect parasites - you should take it to the vet for a thorough check.
