Zombie (update) Who remember him?

Flavia Guimaraes Jul 23, 2003 10:32 AM

This is Zombie's last photo. It was taken 4 months after i rescued him. Do you remember how he looked the day he arrived in my house?

The day Zombie arrived in my house he was like that.My son called him Zombie-the living dead- and nobody thought he would survive!

WOW! He looks wonderful Flavia! What a difference, he must be 4x the size he was BIG congrats to you for being such a good Ig mum, he probably thinks he's died and gone to heaven. He is unrecognizable from how he looked 4 months ago, thats for sure.

So how's the rest of the crew? I miss seeing your posts, its good to know you are doing well with Zombie!

All of them are OK, thanks!Godzilla still is in his breeding season and he didnt improve his behavior an inch!Since Januray he is in his breeding season and now he headbobs to his cage's walls because we needed to cover it completely to stop him from banging his nose on the door and hurting himself!
TREX and THORN and SHENA and ARIEL and ZOMBIE are doing great! I havent posted messages because i dont have anything new to say! Or any problem what is good, lol! They are eating like whales, growing like ogres and i think TREX will be 5 feet at three!
And your baby how is it doing?

Tempest is doing great He's growing like crazy, and now loves to have his whole body massaged. He even leans over for a head and jaw rub, which is amazing considering how nasty he was when I brought him home. He head bobs like crazy at the cat when she's watching him, and then he just turns his back on her. He really enjoys swimming as well, he dives and swims the length of his kiddie pool, alligator rolls for fun, its the best $10 I've spent in a long time!

You are doing a great job!If he is becoming so tame its because he is happy!

What an amazing improvement! Congratulations to both you and Zombie, who's not looking at all zombie-like any more. Glad to hear that your whole iggy family is doing well. Maybe Godzilla has decided to get a whole bunch of breeding seasons over in one shot, and won't have any for the next couple of years?? Well, we can wish, anyway.

I think you were right when you said sometimes it takes several years for one ig to have a very bad breeding season. Godzilla is around 7 years old and that is his first very bad breeding season!
