How long do eggs take to hatch?

seboba17 Nov 29, 2005 11:12 AM

I've got my first crested egg. It was layed on Oct. 8. I've read the eggs take 65-80 days to hatch. I was wondering if anyone could narrow that down a bit. The temperature is always pretty close to 70 degrees.

definitely not going to clear it up for you at all, actually i would like to increase the times from 50-145 days.
TYPICALLY around 70 degrees will be around 70-80 days.
however, if it is the first clutch, they may hatch a little later, or they may not hatch at all.
if i were you i'd just start checking on them pretty frequently around 65 days.
if it gives you any idea, i incubate at 74 degrees and have them hatch between 69-73 days almost exclusively.
