Has anyone had experience with endoscopic sexing of your torts (for impossible to visually sex species, like Burmese) ? I would to know about possible costs and health risks.

I haven't but I do wonder about DNA testing. My vet is convinced that DNA testing will work for a tortoise.
I've read some nay saying on that idea before but none of nay saying came from a vet or veterinary medical type person so I dunno?? IMO DNA testing would be worth asking about.

While DNA will work, it'll never happen. The company that does it for birds, and did it for green iguana's didn't find the herp market that economically feasible. With the number of species, it never will be.
As for the endoscopy, it's rather simple, and there shouldnt be any negative effects. Contact your local herp vet.
Endoscopy here is $40 / 10 minutes. Add your exam, and sedation and you'll likely still be under $200. I am at an emergency clinic, and in Canada so prices will likely be a bit on the high side.
