A picture is worth a lot of effort....

I recently got a new camera for the purpose of capturing some good snake shots while I am in Costa Rica. I am leaving in about 10 days and I thought it only appropriate I try and learn how to use the camera and do so on an animal I hope to find while I am out of the country. I picked up this little jem just under two months ago. She was underweight and full of worms so I figure I have got to have her. The worms are gone but she does have some scale issues which appear to be healing. A number of veterinarians have looked at her and cannot figure out exactly what her problem is but they think it really isnt anything. I started wiping her down with nolvasan when I noticed it and it has gotten much better since I first saw the problem. I tried to get some photos but even with my new 7.2mp sony you cannot really see anything in the shots.

Sorry for the babble. Here she is. It was work getting the little thing to allow me to get a photo while she was in shed. What do you think?

Looks good. Make sure you go to Reptilandia when you are there. I was there in September and had a blast. Would like to go back soon.

Here is me holding one of their female Cribos.
