This seems to be the only sexually dimorphic morph of black rat... The females almost always come out much darker than the males.

The males look hypo to me... Even their pupils are ruby colored.

Sweet snakes and the one thing I like about brindles is that you can tell the sexes apart by there colores

Do you know how many different Brindle bloodlines there are..??
I've noticed that D. good's Brindles look alot cleaner than some of the others that i've seen, and Manny's (myexotix) seem to all be pretty dark..

thanks

I don't know how many bloodlines out there ..My guess would be a few you don't see alot in the classifieds and i don't see many at shows ...Maybe Manny has alot of females ..like you have said before males are normally red or light compare to the females ..that's strange [myexotic]has mostly dark brindles.I also has some of Dwight brindles sweet snakes....Have you seen the licorice brindle is so what do you think about them ?

I'll be getting one of Manny's W/S Brindles along with 1.2 W/S het. Brindle black rats (also Manny's bloodline) tomorrow AM.

I'll be posting some photos when they settle in.

I'm looking forward to working Dwights bloodline into these.. we'll see what happens.

What do you think about the W/S Brindles??
