I use a ceramic heat lamp, and I've had to add some heat cable. It seems to work great on the rubbermaid container I have my littlest baby in. I was having trouble maintaining 85 without the cable. Bought it at the petstore. It's made by Zoomed and it plugs right into my thermostat along with the heater lamp. Works great. I just taped it to the outside of the enclosure in a zigzag pattern.
