I sure hope you mean he's a pastel poss het for some other morph. Sad to say, there is no such thing as a poss het pastel. It's either a pastel or it's not.

we did not pay much but the guy that sold him to us said his father was a pastel and mother was a normal. so there is no such thing as a possible het hu? thanx for the info. we were not had we got what we paid for a great snake he has a wonderful temperment great color in our opinion and we love him no matter what he is.

at the end of the day, that's the real point anyway. a captive animal is just that, and deserves the same love and attention as any other captive animal. regardless if it's a morph, pastel, or whatever....

LOL, that's true, but if he got a pastel for the price of a normal he got over like a big dog

Not sure how we got confused on this one, the animal is a normal pastel sibling. There are of course no pastel hets. Good to see the animal is doing so well though,

it's very nice for a sib, good luck, he's gorgeous. i too hope to have a pied someday, once my hets are old enough to make me one! i love my snakes, no matter what they look like, for me temperment is everything, the morph part is just a bonus. i couldn't bring myself to buy an unfriendly snake just because he/she's a het or morph.
anyways, good luck with him, he is very beautiful and should get even more so!

pieds are very nice so you have two het pieds that you are going to breed and hope to get a full pied i wish we could do that as well

They are what we usually call pastels. They have a pastel mutant gene paired with a normal gene and show the pastel phenotype. There are no heterozygous pastels that look normal. Check www.dictionary.com for the definition of "heterozygous".
