Egg Hatched,,,,Please Help

geckoman2000 Jul 23, 2003 11:06 AM

I came home and to my surprise my egg hatched. Should i leave him in the incubator or move him to something else? I know he wont eat anything until after his first shed so i jus wont bother with that. I just need to know if i shuld leave him in the incubator. Thanks for any replies!!

...he looks, um, dry lol. As long as there isn't still any yolk on him/her then you can take it out and move it to a tank/container with paper towels. can't wait to see pics, i've had 6 babies hatch this week

I leave mine in the incubator in a seperate deli cup with damp paer towel for like 12 to 24 hours I think it helps their new lungs adjust to breathing air but don't know for sure I know it never hurt. I leave them in the container they hatched in if they are not digging and bothering the other eggs or are alone
