What Does it Mean when a female does this when introduced to a male?

Hello, i introduced my male to my female and he started to show intrest in her right away it seems and within minutes the female lifted up her tail and started to eject some fluids that kinda loked like urine but looked a bit more mucosy .. happen to anyone before? anyone know what that means ? thanks ...

LOL, this has recently been discussed on the Ball Python forum, but there does seem to be a difference of opinion. Most think it's a sign that their female is ready to breed. Some say the opposite, that it means she's not ready. I believe there was more for than against. So keep an eye on them. Have they locked up yet . Good Luck.

Personally, if a girl did that to me it would be a turn off. So I vote that they are not ready.

This female did that when the male was initially introduced, and also when I took him out to feed him and backed him up with another male. Obviously she was receptive. (this was her third swell in 3 weeks and she is now dark. I imagine she should be going into post ov shed soon)

My other female did the same thing but she hasn't taken as of yet, and my guess is she won't so who knows for sure.
