I have a 4 foot female red tail and i have just purchesed a 5 foot male can i put them both together and have them be fine? Any info would be great!! Thanks ~AJ

Im glad you asked why. That shows me that you are interested in doing what is best.

The biggest reason ofcourse is for health reasons, assuming that you have not quarantined the new, if it is, boa.

The other reason is that she may breed, and she is too small to breed judging by the info you gave.

Next year would probably be fine, after you determine that the health of the "new" one and when the female is large/old enough to breed safely.
