something starnge is goin on!

ok its near winter and my herps are acting weird. my garter has dug under his water bowl which he has never done before. my giant black millipede has dug to the bottom of her tank, again never happened before. my bearded dragon has had a sudden loss of appetite. and my ball python is for once comin out of her hides to soak and climb on her branches. is it because winter. or are they just weird????? plz replie

Take it it's your first winter with these animals...

yes it's normal activity. In the wild they will brumate (pretty much hybernate)...just find a nice warm, safe, closed in place and sit out winter. They can't eat when the temp drops as they're cold blooded, so they just kinda sleep. the snakes anyways...not sure about the "bug"

usually something has changed. You need to look at thier temps, light (duration and strength), and so on. Most, but not all times there will be something different in the enviroment and it may be very hard for you to detect.

But then, on the other hand, some animals just have an extremely good internal clock.
