hatchling question

Well out of 4 eggs i got 1 pastel and 3 normal. Hey, at least i got one pastel! my questoin is, one of the hatchlings is sitting in his water bowl, and at times his head is submerged. I am getting worried, and feel like i have to go check on him ever 5 minutes. I am sure i am just being a new dad, but are they dumb enough to drown them self?
