low percentage bleaching solution should do the trick, or, simple green in a low concentration and that stuff is biodegradable/non toxic. The cage material, well, how big of a budget do you have?? 'cause a nice mahogany would look marvelous! lol No seriously, umm, HDF would work if you seal the crap out of it. I'd stay away from anything pressure treated, gives off fumes and what not. Ummm, yeah, would depend on size of enclosure and budget in my book.
