Yellowbelly Male from Tony Hurt (Snake Evolutions)

PythonJoe Nov 30, 2005 06:28 PM

Thought I'd share some pics of a Yellowbelly (Het Ivory) male I received from Tony Hurt of Snake Evolutions. Got him last week and he eats like a fiend, even while in shed. Like many others, I had difficulty understanding the difference between a yellowbelly and a normal until seeing a few in person. This little guy wouldn't stay still long enough to get a good belly shot, but he's definately a smoker. Amazing flames.
Thanks, Tony!

Enjoy the pics.
Joe

But what do yellow bellies produce? Can you provide some belly pics? Thanks

Yellowbellies produce more Yellowbellies, and their super is the Ivory. Some of the combinations that have been produced with them have been unlike any other. The Super Stripe and Ebony are insane....I'm still not completely sure what the other genes mixed in those are though....

So non-white snakes make white snakes (YB X YB)? How does that work? I thought leucistic's made ivory... If not then what makes Leucistic's? I really need to get that NERD book. I'm sorry for asking questions on someone else's topic but I don't want to make a new topic since we're on the subject

Thank you very much for posting that link. I've read the discussions of morphs and often been confused by all that I was reading and seeing. The link you posted has great information. Everyone who is curious will enjoy seeing it.

Thanks,

Bill

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.
