Has anyone purchased the new Vision Rack for their ball pythons?

miba8055 Nov 30, 2005 07:07 PM

I'm looking for a review or feedback regarding the new design.

Quality,
Sturdiness,
Heating,
Humidity,
Cleaning,
etc.

Any feedback would be great.

Regards,
Mike

Hello Mike,

I'm not sure which rack you are talking about. I assume since you are lookingat it for Ball Pythons, you are looking at the older CB-70 rack that is a good bit larger than their new 28qt. design. The new 28 qt. design would be great for growing hatchlings to yearlings but you really wouldn't want to breed them in that small of a tub.

Here are a couple of photos of the older model for the Iris CB-70 box. This is a new room in a section of our recent expansion that holds 10 rack (100 tubs) split into 6 rack on one side of the room and 4 on the other! We have really enjoyed these racks so far. We have been happy with their service and product and look forward to getting more for the next expansion! Our snakes shed a bit better now that they have more reduced ventilation in these new racks. Many of our other racks are made with open air tops which, unfortunately, provide a little too much air flow. We have used various solid sheet type materials to cover most of the open area but the Vision racks still seem to perform better.

I would highly recommend Vision as a product to try out! Here are the pics... (also... these pics were taken some time ago and most all of these boxes are full now... what an addiction!)

Actually Sean, I wrote to him a while back after seeing some of his racks for the 28qt boxes, and there are plans to build the same style rack around the CB70 boxes. Last I remember from the E-mails was that he was hoping to have them ready by the end of November, I haven't written back since though and don't know if they are ready or not.
