Leopard gecko not eating

8turtles2lpgeckz Nov 30, 2005 07:42 PM

Hey, i need some help, my leopard gecko is close to 8 months old now, and she is still very small, buot 4 inches because her tail got caught between a log in the aquarium because the family memebers are not careful. She hasent been eating lately. She used to eat fine, i dont kknow if my other gecko which is about an inch bigger than her is intimidating her, or what, because she hasnt really grown lately, and its starting to scare me that shes not eating. Any suggestions? Do you think she needs to go to the vet? Please respond quickly!

You may want to separate your two geckos for a while and then watch to see if your little one eats.

yes, you should have seperated them when she lost her tail. try offering some waxworms, and without fat stores in her tail, a vet visit may be in order. She needs to eat and regenerete that tail fat.
