my blue tegu cage is on a timer it turns off at 9pm. i have red light for night and my tegu staysup and basks under it i also have a ceramic heat emitter and a heat pad. Should i keep this red ligt in the cage. i was wondering if i should take rubber maid container and make it into a warm hide filled with mulch and aheating pad???

for some critters it is usually good to have a hide on the warm side and another on the cool side, but i havent gotten a tegu yet so definatly listen to someone else over my opinion
