I picked up a 1300g female about 2-3 weeks ago. Last week I fed her. Well, last night she came out of hiding and looked, well...bigger! I mean a lot bigger! So I took out the scale and weighed her. Before eating, she was 1320g. Last night, after taking a nice sized poop, she weighed 1475g! Holy hell! Anybody else see that much of a diff in just a week?

First thing that popped into my head was she might be gravid. Where'd you pick her up? Was she with a male? Would be a heck of a deal if she was, wouldn't it?

How long after mating would you notice a growth like that? She was with a male where I picked her up, and since just before feeding I've had her in with my poss het axanthic male. No mating witness...but a whole hell of a lot of "cuddling" I'm just hoping the other male didn't get to her first

I haven't seen that much growth in a week, but I don't normally weigh my snakes on a weekly basis, just after they shed or poop.

I did purchase a 1,400g female around February of this year and she currently weighs around 3,300 grams! Growth I'm quite happy with, too.

Very nice growth indeed! I normally don't get a weight every week either...usually every 6 months or more...but the growth was so visually staggering, I had to get a weight to make sure I wasn't going crazy! She'd spent the week curled up in her hide box, so when she sprawled out, I was just blown away.
