Can anyone help?

Can anyone show me a pic of a Florida King? I was wondering what is a typical coloring for them... what about darker strains? Is that normal? Just curious.
Also, on an un-related note, approx how big do kings get? I have recently aquired one & while I know it won't get too big I haven't found anything that has said anything specific about their full adult length.

You'll probably get a whole bunch of different looks from those who post their pics.. They are quite variable. Depending on locality or breeding lines they can be very much like chain kings with dark bands and light crossbars to a "salt and pepper" look and/or pale golden yellow with little pattern visible.
Do you have pics of yours? We all like seeing them.
In my experience, a 5' FL king is a big one.

She's real dark. Like black licorice, and thick.

I don't think that my new baby is a Florida King, I think she's a Desert King but someone said she was and so I was curious. I don't know for sure because a friend found her. She looks a little like that dark Florida king but almost exactly like a Desert King I saw a few posts back. I'll post pics of her later tonight when I get home.
Thanks!!!
