She is too small. Mine laid her first clutch at 23 inches. At 19 inches you risk egg-binding.

I am now going through an experience with a gravid Basilisk, and I do not want to lose her, but unfortunately, when you deal with exotics, you either take that chance, or go broke and still end up losing the animal, as I have in the past with a gravid MHD. The only thing I can do for her now is keep her warm, and bathe her in warm water, which in turn should help with her going into shock, and hopefully encourage her to lay. She laid 1 egg in her water this morning, but has been doing worse as of yet.
I believe that anyone who wants to own an exotic, should keep with the male speices, unlees you want to breed. I suggest breeding her ASAP to avoid becoming egg-bound.

I forgot to mention that 'waiting' for a first clutch is not beneficial, because that first clutch can become egg-bound, as with my Basilisk. She was never bred. So they do have cycles, like with Chameleons, and you need to get them bred during that first cycle.
