It seems every year the spider gene keeps amazing us all. It is by far the greatest morph for combo's to date. Keep up the great work.

I'm going to disagree with you on that. the spider does produce some great combo's, but what about the lonely old pastel. It stated this mix and match craze and without it, there wouldn't be alot of these designers. we can say the spider makes everything look better, but i have yet to see a pastel cross (other than the albino) that didn't look just crazy. ok that is my rant, lol and btw those are some bad a$$ spiders, i think i may just have to pick up a few this summer, lol........... I agree with you that the pastel is a great morph for combo's but i do not agree that it is better then the spider. The pastel is limited by being a color morph. While the spider is a color/pattern morph. This allows for more potential combo's. As you stated before the albino doesn't cross that well with pastel. I also don't believe the Axanthic Pastel is anything great. While the Axanthic Spider should be outstanding. I also anticipate the arrival of the T Albino Spider but not so excited to see the T Albino pastel.

I would put the pastel up there high on the list but just not on top as the KING!

He Peek a CHoooooo

This year should be great for the Spider Combos. My brain is slowly coming around to the thought of breeding snakes. Everyone is breeding theirs and I am just thinking about it? What is wrong with me?

I can not wait til we see a Spider Caramel, an Axanthic Spider and the Axanthic Zebra Bee.

Then there is the Axanthic Super Pastel and the Axanthic Killer Bee....

The book will be MORPH outdated in No Time!

What an awesome display of spider combos! I think spiders are the best morph when it comes to designer balls. Personal favorites are the queen, honey, coral and of course the bumblebee. Keep up the great work. Mark Petros BallPython777.com

And it doesn't help that Spiders are my FAVORITE Ball morph!!!

I can't believe the Fire got rid of all the white up the sides? Crazy! I like the regular, Albino, and Wanna-Bee the best!!

Damn you K & K!!!

BackBeat Dec 02, 2005 02:42 AM

Absolutely incredible display of designer combos. I've yet to see a Spider combo I don't like.
Okay, so the Mojave Spider and the CinnaBee took a little while to grow on me. lol

Thanks for sharing all of these great pics. All of the snakes are wonderful, hard to pick favourites here. But if I had to pick 5, I'd go with the WannaBee, QueenBee, LesserBee, CinnaBee and Bumblebee.

I'm sure between the forums and classifieds I've seen photos of 30-40 different Bumblebees, and still they never get 'old.' Their colours and contrast are just toooooo niccce!

Okay, enough rambling already.

Nice balls, K & K!

Kevin and Kara

I want to say that you really know how to work with one gene. I know spiders are still hot snakes and sell well but the price as dropped. You have done a great job with that gene and Im sure you still have more plans for it.

Spiders are one of the most unusually of the ball pythons and seem to have that those goofy habits that seem alarming at first but there lack of normal personality has not affected their feeding habits or breeding habits at all.

I want to thank you personally for your contribution to the ball python community/industry. If everone maximized the potential of an animal the way you have, their would be a lot more designer snakes right now.

I cant wait to see what the cinnamom spider breed to a pastel or super pastel lookings like.

I hope the Woma ball follows the same suit as your spider project.
