OK just want to know how much what to feed and how often through the life of a ball python....IM going to be getting one soon....Also any good DETAILED care sheets or web pages??? thaks alot...Also just to let evryone knbow I do not have acsess to any rats smaller then well...small no pups or nething

Well...even as hatchlings they're capable of rat pinks/fuzzies. So if all you can get is mice or small rats...you better hope the mice are good sized. I ran into the same problem till I found a breeder. Cost my 04 female a lot of weight over the last year. She's only 513g. My 05 animals are already over 300g. I don't really like to, but if you plan to breed, you may wanna think of offering 2 smaller prey items if you don't have access to anything smaller than a small rat but large enough for a good meal.

I'm glad you are going to find care info about your new BP before you recieve him, I just wish you would have done this with your boa.

Depending on what you would like to do with your Ball:

(ie getting him big or growing up slowly)

You can feed it once a week a couple small food items all at once, or you can feed it one larger food item once a week, or you can feed it several small items throughout the week spaced several days apart.

It really depends on you and your ambitions and your snake's preference.

Just don't forget to feed..........
